It may be because of your makeup, or perhaps you spend a lot of time in front of your computer, or you are very tired. The point is that you ended up with irritated, itchy eyes.
No need to worry as there are some smart home remedies to soothe eye irritation:
Take some ice cubes or a packaged frozen food item, wrap them in a clean towel and place it on your eyes. It will relieve your eyes from the swelling.
Boil one cup of water and add a tea bag of chamomile. Let it cool a little bit and use it as a compress on your eyes.
And last but not least, cucumber slices are the most common remedy for eye irritation and inflammation. Just cut two slices, place them in cold water for 10 minutes and put them on your closed eyes for 10 more minutes.
