6 top make-up tips to achieve a natural facelift

Here are 6 top make-up tips to give the appearance of a natural facelift.

Eyebrows: Eyebrows frame your face. It’s therefore important that if you want to look fresh, awake and have a younger looking appearance then be sure to get your eyebrows gently tweezed by a professional. A professional will help you achieve the correct shape according to the dimensions of your face. You should notice a lifted appearance.

Mascara: If it’s a natural look you’re going for, only apply mascara to the top lashes. For an evening occasion, you might want to add a little to the lower lashes.

Concealer: Opt for a light reflecting concealer to brighten the eye area and disguise any signs of eye fatigue. Also apply to the cheekbones and use to camouflage any blotches.

Foundation: See a make-up specialist to get the natural shade that looks right for you and remember that if you get a tan, or lose one, you need to change your foundation too. A slightly darker shade, applied just below the cheekbones, will accentuate the features of your face but be careful not to overdo it.

Blusher: Never apply blusher further than from the corner of your pupil to the apple of your cheek. If you apply any further, it can give the illusion of larger cheeks. A little touch of blusher on the forehead and chin tip will add to the facelift effect.

Lips: If your lips are a little lopsided or need a little extra fullness, a lip pencil can work marvels. To keep the natural look, use the same shade as your lipstick. Use the lipstick just outside the lip line to add a little extra fullness, but not too much.
