Pretty during Christmas

The festive season is upon us, bringing excuses to dress up and look pretty. Whether you're celebrating with friends or getting ready for work, you want to look fabulous all the time. Here are some things that you can add in your daily make up routine, in order to look pretty every single festive day!

Keep yourself moisturized
Winter can be harsh on your skin so make sure to drink enough water and moisturize your skin every morning.

Put a Twinkle in Your Eye
Skip your standby smoky eye makeup and go for a little more glitz. Dust your lids with a gold powder shadow and your eyes will look sparkling.

Get a manicure
Gel nails are a great way to make them look perfect always, as they will last from Christmas to New Year's Eve without chipping. Pick a wintery shade such as plum for a chic look.

Make it glossy
Add a slick of a glossy lipstick, and you’ll see that it’s the fastest way to get into the Christmas party mood. You can choose between coral, pink or red, depending on what color you prefer.

Make it Red
Red lips are the little black dress of New year`s Eve - glamorous, feminine, timeless. And with these guidelines, everyone (yes, that means you) can wear it.

All about the balm
Just like the rest of your body’s skin, lips look best when plumped and hydrated. Use a scrub to slough away dry flakes of skin, and follow with balm or moisturizer.

Powder up
Powder the lips prior to applying lipstick. This gives it something to adhere to, allowing the colour to stay on all day.

Shape your lips
Using a red lip pencil, outline your lips in the shape you desire. For a longer lasting look, fill in your entire lip with the lip pencil.

Colour. Blot. Colour.
Apply one layer of lip colour. Blot with a tissue to remove any excess. Apply a second layer of lip colour. That’s pretty easy red!
