Take a generous spoonful of mask activator and place into the blending jar. Take one collagen mask capsule, split open and pour contents into the blending jar. Mix the formula slowly to avoid spillages until smooth consistency. Your fresh face mask is now active!
Using fingertips apply the mask to the face and neck area. Massage the cream in an upward direction until the mask has been completely absorbed. Leave on the skin for a period of at least 10-15 minutes before removing with tepid water and pat dry. For best results, follow with PureLogicol age-defying face serum.
(For a more intensive treatment the mask can be left on for a longer period or overnight).
Q. What is Collagen?
A. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and accounts for some 75% of the skin, hair, nail and joint tissue. Collagen consists of water-soluble peptides which are a rich source of amino acids, the essential building blocks of the body.
Q. What causes ageing?
A. Ageing is caused by both intrinsic (internal) and extrinsic (external) ageing factors. Internal ageing is our body's natural chronological ageing process. After the age of 25, the body starts to deplete collagen at a rate of 1.5% every year; this results in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and loss of skin elasticity.
External ageing factors such as sun exposure account for up to 90% of skin damage. The sun causes DNA damage and breaks down collagen; other external ageing factors that cause ageing are environment, temperature, gravity, repetitive facial movements and lifestyle.
Q. What causes wrinkles?
A. The way your skin looks is directly related to the way your skin is supported. Wrinkles form when the natural collagen and hyaluronic acid in your skin diminish during the natural ageing process.
Q. What are parabens?
A. Parabens are a group of chemicals used as preservatives in cosmetic/beauty products. Some common names include benzylparaben, isobutylparaben, butylparaben, propylparaben, ethylparaben, and methylparaben.
Q. Why are there fears over paraben use?
A. A number of studies have shown a possible link between breast tumours and the use of products containing parabens. There are on-going clinical studies in this area. With this in mind and to safeguard our customers concerns, PureLogicol have researched and formulated our product range to exclude parabens and other harsh chemicals.
Q. How often should I apply the mask?
A. Once or twice per week or as desired.

Q. Can I apply the mask around the eye area?
A. Yes, but avoid direct contact. Apply with a light touch around this sensitive area.
