Skin is an important organ

Scientists state that the average adult contains almost 21 square feet of skin. Some people do not realise that our skin is most definitely one of the most important organs that we have and some people tend to neglect it or perhaps not care for it as much as they should.

Our skin is not just something to look at or keep us warm, but it is there to protect us against the environment around us and helps to protect our immune system. Although there are plenty of warnings about our skincare, people still ignore these warnings and subject their skin to harmful chemicals, such as detergents and perfumes and also the strong UV rays of the sun and artificial sunlight.

When another person looks at you, even just for a second, then your skin can reveal your true age, how healthy you and your lifestyle is and your emotional state. Your skin will can tell some truths.

Today’s generation are now starting to understand the importance of looking after their skin and are ensuring that they have a good skincare regime that includes lots of natural skin care products and collagen beauty products.

It is not just woman that feel they need to look after their appearance and look more youthful, but research has shown that more and more men are becoming concerned about the signs of premature ageing and are investing some of their hard earned cash in some worthwhile age defying creams.
