PureLogicol Skincare - Kilmarnock Standard Press Feature
An age-defying skincare firm in Ayrshire boasts A-list celebrities like Madonna among its customers. The queen of pop and Sex and the City star Kristen Davis have raved to magazines about how the PureLogicol Advanced Skincare range keeps them looking young.
Allan McLaughlin came up with the idea for the revolutionary skincare treatments using collagen as a cure for his acne problem. Some years ago he started a company from his family home in Glasgow using £7000.00 borrowed from credit cards. Mr McLaughlin said: "The laboratory believed in me and offered some credit. This allowed me to manufacture the products. I had so much belief in the products and felt they would help other people too."
The PureLogicol range includes cleansers, toners, moisturisers, face masks and supplements, and is now manufactured and sold in 12 countries across the world. The collagen supplements have clinically shown to reduce wrinkles, increase skin moisture and decrease skin pores.
