Look after your eyes and they will look after you
Our eyes are the first telltale signs of our actual age as the skin around our eyes is a lot more sensitive and thinner. You must always ensure that you look after your skin and especially the skin around your eyes as the eye area is extremely delicate.
The use of a good age defying cream or anti ageing cream works wonders on the thinning eye area and is an essential cosmetic tool to have and use.
Younger looking skin does not happen overnight or magically and you have an important part to play in the maintenance of your skin. You can spend money on anti ageing creams, but without the right skincare regime you will not benefit from the youthful looking results.
Your eyes are most definitely the main feature on your face and the window to your soul. However, they suffer harsh treatment on a daily basis through the application of eye shadow, mascara and eyeliner and then there is the removal of these make-up products that also take its toll on your eyes - so you should treat your eyes with the respect they deserve.
When carrying out your daily skin care regime, use a cotton wool ball or pad to remove your eye make-up and definitely do not use tissue paper as this is too harsh and can scratch the skin. Try and avoid using waterproof mascara, as this is extremely tough to remove and needs a stronger technique. Always use an anti ageing eye gel or cream after you have removed your make up, as this helps to hydrate the skin and rejuvenate the thinning eye area.
