Anti ageing eye creams
In the past it was easier to chop up a cucumber or get out a bag of frozen peas from the freezer and place them over your eyes to help reduce puffiness, the appearance of bags, shadows and even wrinkles.
Then anti ageing wrinkle cream came in the form of eye creams that were designed to also reduce fine lines and dark circles. However, when these eye creams first came out they contained mainly moisturising ingredients that didn't really do anything other than moisturise underneath your eye.
Now anti ageing eye creams are full of ingredients that do what they are designed to do, whether it is to repair the signs of ageing eyes or prevent the signs of ageing- they work.
Most anti ageing eye creams work the same as Botox injections, where they gently suppress muscle movements to help soften wrinkles and prevent new ones from appearing. Although these anti ageing eye creams do not penetrate the skin as much as Botox the effects are similar.
