Ageing Hands

We can lie about our age and even carry out a very strict skincare regime on our faces, but it is our hands that really tell our true age and remain painfully honest. People often neglect or forget about their hands, but by doing that they appear to age faster.

Dry and poor skin, damaged cuticles and shabby nails can all make your hands look older than they really are. Constant exposure to the sun or UV rays and too much housework can cause damage to our hands and speed up the signs of aging.

It is never too early to start looking after your hands and using skin care products that. Here are some tips to give your hands some tender love and care.

In your late 20's use hand creams and skin care products designed to soften your skin. By doing this you are preparing your hands for the future. Apply the hand cream in the morning, in the evening and after washing your hands.

In your late 30's to early 40's start using a collagen skin care product, as this will help repair any visual damage and rejuvenate tired hands.

Religiously carry out a skincare regime on your hands. Always carry hand cream with you. Always use washing up gloves when washing dishes, gardening or doing housework. Always dry your hands thoroughly, as any water left on your hands will eventually evaporate and leave your hands feeling and looking dry.
