Cleansing is one of the most important things you can do to maintain healthy, younger looking skin. Using the right products on your face is very important, and cleansing daily helps rid your face of nasty bacterium, dirt and pollution which can age the skin and also cause problems such as acne.

Every day our face accumulates a build-up of dirt and impurities as well as a build-up of chemical substances which are formed in the body. In order to maintain a fresh, youthful appearance, it is essential to use a face cleanser to help remove these toxins.

Before cleansing your face, you should ensure your hands are clean. Do this by washing your hands with a mild soap and some warm water beforehand. Then you should proceed to cleanse using a facial cleanser which suits your own needs.

Below are some tips on choosing the right face cleanser for your skin type:

Normal Skin: If you have fairly healthy skin which has few blemishes, you are free to use pretty much any facial cleanser. Face Cleansers combining natural and scientific ingredients are particularly great.

Dry Skin: Skin that is dry and flaky should avoid using water that’s too warm as this can exacerbate the problem. Use a milk cleanser or a creamy face cleanser which contains natural skin comforting ingredients such as almond oil, vitamin E, aloe vera and jojoba oil. Glycerin is also great as it helps attract moisture to the skin.

Oily Skin: If your skin is oily, you should avoid waxy products as they contain lots of oil which can open your T-zone and make the problem much worse than it was before. You should try a foaming face wash which helps unblock pores, as an oily skin can tend to develop black heads and may have regular break outs.
